10 Years of Service to the Quran

There are some milestones that deserve more than a simple congratulations. They deserve reflection, gratitude, and sincere appreciation.

The completion of 10 years of Quran teaching by Hafiz Basharat Ali is one such occasion. A decade spent teaching the words of Allah is not simply a period of employment. It is a journey of patience, responsibility, consistency, and service to the Quran.

As a teacher and colleague at CloudEdu Online School, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for this important milestone and for the years that have been dedicated to Quran and Islamic education.

The Honour of Learning and Teaching the Quran

The Quran holds a unique place in the life of a Muslim. To learn it is a blessing, and to teach it to others is a responsibility that carries great honour.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ encouraged the learning and teaching of the Quran and described those who engage in this noble work among the best of people.

“The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.”

[Sahih al-Bukhari]

Every lesson taught, every correction made, and every student guided in Quranic recitation becomes part of a teacher's contribution to the spread of beneficial knowledge.

A Decade of Consistent Service

Ten years of teaching the Quran is not measured only by the number of years written on a certificate. Behind those years are countless lessons, conversations, corrections, preparations, and moments of guidance.

During this period, many students may have taken their first steps in reading the Quran, improved their recitation, or developed a stronger connection with the Book of Allah.

We may never know the full effect of every lesson a teacher gives. A student may carry something learned in a classroom for the rest of his or her life, and that knowledge may later be passed on to another generation.

A Role in the Education of Future Generations

The work of a Quran teacher reaches beyond the classroom. When a child learns to read the Quran, that knowledge becomes part of the child's home and family life.

Over the years, countless letters, words, verses, and lessons can become part of the educational journey of students. In this way, the service of a Quran teacher can reach places that the teacher may never personally see.

This is one of the most beautiful aspects of teaching the Quran: the benefit of knowledge can continue long after a particular lesson has ended.

Recognizing a Teacher's Service

It is therefore important that sincere service is recognized. Appreciation does not change the value of the work that has already been done, but it allows an institution and its people to say, “We noticed your effort, and we value it.”

The recognition given to Hafiz Basharat Ali on completing ten years is a meaningful expression of that appreciation.

The presentation of a Honda CD70 motorcycle by respected institute head Muhammad Saeed Abbasi (CEO) made the occasion even more memorable.

The motorcycle is, of course, a practical gift. But its deeper meaning is much greater: it represents appreciation for a decade of service, respect for loyalty, and recognition of a teacher who has remained connected with the institution over the years.

Appreciation Is Also a Sign of Good Leadership

A good leader does not look only at the performance of an institution. A good leader also recognizes the people whose time, effort, and commitment contribute to that institution.

When the sincere work of a teacher is acknowledged, it sends an important message to the entire team: commitment matters, service matters, and people who contribute to the growth of an institution are not forgotten.

The appreciation shown by Muhammad Saeed Abbasi (CEO) on this occasion is a beautiful example of recognizing the human effort behind an institution's educational work.

Respect for the Teacher of the Quran

Respecting a teacher of the Quran is, in many ways, an expression of respect for knowledge itself.

A Quran teacher helps carry the words of Allah from one generation to another. This responsibility deserves dignity, respect, and appreciation.

When we honour a teacher who has spent years in this service, we are also reminding ourselves of the importance of Quranic education and the people who dedicate their lives to it.

Sincere Effort Is Never Lost

Years of sincere work may sometimes pass quietly. Not every effort receives immediate recognition, and not every result can be seen straight away.

But sincere effort is never wasted. The knowledge shared with a student, the correction made in a recitation, and the encouragement given during a difficult lesson can remain with that student for years.

The service of the Quran has a value that cannot always be measured through numbers. Its real impact may be seen in the lives of the people who learn and benefit from it.

A Special Prayer for Hafiz Basharat Ali

May Allah Almighty accept these ten years of teaching, patience, effort, and service from Hafiz Basharat Ali.

May every letter of the Quran he has taught become a source of reward for him. May Allah place barakah in his knowledge, health, age, time, and sustenance, and grant him the strength and sincerity to continue serving the Quran and Islamic education.

May the knowledge he has shared become a lasting source of benefit and reward for him in this world and the Hereafter.

A Prayer for Owner of Institute

May Allah Almighty reward Muhammad Saeed Abbasi (CEO) for this beautiful gesture of appreciation and for recognizing the service of a teacher.

May Allah place abundant barakah in his life, health, wealth, time, sustenance, and institution. May He make him a means of serving the Quran, the people of the Quran, and beneficial education.

A Prayer for the Academy

May Allah Almighty make CloudEdu Online School a bright centre for Quranic and Islamic education.

May Allah accept the efforts of every teacher, administrator, student, and person associated with the institute, and bless the academy with beneficial growth, sincere people, and continued success.
